Does this mean aliens are real? On Friday, May 8, the Pentagon released its first files on UFOs following the instruction of President Donald Trump, who directed the agency to release them in early 2026. The first batch released reveals several investigations of numerous reports detailing Unidentified Aerial Phenomena over the decades.
The Defense Department wrote on X, saying, “The American people can now access the federal government’s declassified UAP files instantly. The latest UAP videos, photos, and original source documents from across the entire United States government are all in one place – no clearance required.” The department also revealed that it will be releasing new materials as they discover and declassifies them over the next few weeks.
The FBI previously released some of these materials. However, the latest version released by the Pentagon contains hundreds of large FBI files detailing eyewitness testimonies and public reports about UFOs ranging from 1947 to 1968. The files contain images known as “DOW-UAP-PR43, Unresolved UAP Report, Africa, 2025”, which contain details of a reported UAP while flying within African airspace.
Does this mean that aliens are real?
These files didn’t reveal any image of an alien or suggest that the UAP belongs to an alien civilization. Hence, we cannot say for now whether Aliens are real. However. As we continue to advance technologically, we may be able to build sophisticated technologies that will enable us to determine if aliens are real or not.
